Or better yet...Will this blog series ever continue?
Or better yet, an actual game?
What you've put down so far already seems better than most MMO's I've played.11450105https://www.blogger.com/profile/17237039003137191147noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1547679423655637756.post-9597030521235774802010-07-19T22:30:59.129-07:002010-07-19T22:30:59.129-07:00Um, actually, if this were a square, two of the mi...Um, actually, if this were a square, two of the midpoints would coincide. A tetrahedron encompasses these four bases (the corners) and six hybrids (the edges) much better.

To completely math out here: the tetrahedron seems to be a three-dimensional slice of four-dimensional space, those dimensions being Mental, Agile(!), Physical, and Social. The volume is located along the equation M+A+P+S=1 or some such, while the faces are defined by M>=0, A>=0, etc.

And 72? Yeah, that seems like what you have, but let's itemize it just for clarity:

1 Noob class
10 primary classes
45 multiclass combos*
16 primary/secondary class combos**

* 45 = 10C2, or the number of ways to take two of ten items, disregarding order.
** 16 = 4*(1+3); there are secondary classes associated with each of four stats, and each may be combined with the base class (corner) or any of the three hybrid classes (edges) sharing that stat.

Is that correct?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
